Dear Music Enthusiasts-
Give me one day to synchronize your ensemble. We will cover the rudiments
of rhythm using hand-held instruments and drums. Instrumental musicians who
are readers will be provided with written arrangements to fit the various
rhythms of the Caribbean. In this way we will attain the great synergy in
which each player, no matter what level, will blend into the joyous ensemble
of lively syncopation. You will see how Jazz and Popular music are infused
with these Creole Rhythms and your playing and enjoyment of music will be
enhanced from that day forward!!
